During the UP General Alumni-Faculty Homecoming and Reunion that was held on August 19, 2017, three UPLB alumni were awarded in different categories at the 2017 UP Alumni Association Awards.

Dr. Juanito P. Abilay (ROTC ’58; BSA ’58 honors curriculum) was awarded the UPAA Distinguished Service Award for an Alumnus.
UPAA Distinguished Alumnus Award Entrepreneurship and Employment Creation was bestowed on Mr. Cesar O. Mamon (BSAB ’76).
Dr. Mimosa C. Ocampo (BSHT ’67, MS ’76) was given the UPAA Distinguished Alumna Award in Women Empowerment through Rural Development.
