Out of 39 examinees from UPLB, 37 successfully passed the board exam, an accomplishment that reflects their unwavering dedication, discipline, and hard work. This outstanding performance not only highlights the individual achievements of the new civil engineers but also reinforces UPLB’s strong reputation for academic excellence and its holistic approach to education.

This year, a total of 16,912 examinees from various universities and colleges across the country took the examination, with only 4,940 passing, resulting in a national passing rate of 29.21%. In contrast, UPLB’s significantly higher passing rate further solidifies its position as one of the leading institutions in engineering education in the Philippines.

The UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (CEAT), home to the Civil Engineering program, continues to uphold the highest standards in engineering education, research, and service to the nation. The college’s efforts to equip students with both technical expertise and a sense of public service are reflected in this recent success.

The entire UPLB community extend their heartfelt congratulations to the new civil engineers. Their achievement serves as an inspiration to current and future students and a reminder of the excellence that defines #TatakUPLB.
