UPLB once again has proven its commitment to excellence, as all 32 of its examinees successfully passed the May 2025 chemical engineers computer-based licensure examination. This perfect passing rate cements UPLB’s reputation as a powerhouse in engineering education.
Out of 799 aspiring chemical engineers, 609 examinees (75.34%) cleared the rigorous board exam, conducted by the Board of Chemical Engineering in multiple testing centers nationwide, including NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, and Rosales.
The UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology (CEAT), which houses the university’s prestigious Chemical Engineering program, remains steadfast in its mission to develop top-tier engineers equipped with technical expertise and a strong commitment to serving the nation. This recent accomplishment highlights CEAT’s dedication to producing graduates who not only excel in their fields but also contribute meaningfully to society – truly a #TatakUPLB.
