Forester Leo R. Ballesfin (CF ’81, BSF ’84) is now the president of the UPLB Alumni Association (UPLBAA) succeeding Mr. Simeon A. Cuyson (BSA ’59).

Cuyson served UPLBAA from 2007-2015 and was instrumental for the completion of the Alumni Plaza. He organized KapaligiRun project and institutionalize the event to serve as vehicle for creating and sustaining awareness for the proper management of the Makiling Forest Reserve.

Ballesfin, on the other hand, will serve UPLBAA for the next three years. His extensive experience in corporate operational management propel him to be in charge of this 34 year-old federation of alumni associations. Other officials of UPLBAA Governing Board are: Floro R. Francisco, vice president for external affairs; Elpidio M. Agbisit Jr., vice president for internal affairs; Sherwin Joseph C. Felicidario, secretary; Jovita L. Movillon, treasurer; Florisa M. Viloria, asst. treasurer; and Evelie P. Serrano, auditor. Board Members are: Frank C. Cornejo, Florendo C. Quebral, Fernando F. Sanchez, Paul Arjune I. Olayres, Rico C. Ancog, Bibiano M. Ramos, Guido Alfredo A. Delgado, and Dexter M. Cabahug Jr. Council of Advisers are: Nelia T. Gonzalez, Emil Q. Javier, Ruben L. Villareal, Feliciano B. Calora, Dolores A. Ramirez, Ricardo M. Lantican, Mariio M. Labadan, and Fernando A. Bernardo. The director of UPLB Office of Alumni Relations, Dr. Sue Liza C. Saguiguit serves as ex-officio member of the UPLBAA.
